And We Ate

This pretty much sums up our weekend. Actually, if I am serious, that could aptly describe most of our weekends. We did manage to find a way to fit in a few other activities the past few days...but somehow they usually came back to encompassing some tasty grub. Wiki can blame it on being Italian and Lebanese(or you know, just being 6'5)

what is my excuse you ask?
Just being alive.
that is all I got.
Is this not enough?

Friday I got my hair all did again, by the ever lovely Elizabeth.

if you're in the triangle, you should definitely look into having her do your hair, she is beyond amazing. You can check her FB page out here.

That night I had a co pampered chef and thirty one party.
I made some goodies...obviously.
 banana cinnamon icebox cake
fuzzy navel sangria. So yum!

and on Saturday the mister and I had an all around fun day.
Indulged in this pure amazingness that is a pistachio frappe from Euro Cafe
and then headed to check out the car show in Downtown Wake Forest, about 2 miles from our house.
I am not really a car girl...but I could be for this!
or probably any of these!
Since we were already walking around, Wiki decided to sneak in and grab a beer. I watched...Beer and I are not friends.
We then went to get his oild changed and busted time at the mall. and he surprised me by grabbing me this MK cross body bag that I had been eyeing for awhile for all the trips we take. Early annv. gift!
Then it was time for an early dinner and we ate al fresca at Tribecca Tavern and oh my word, my burger and the wings were legit. Hungry again!
Then we stopped by one of my favorite places, Lafeyyet Village and partook in some gelato. This amazing treat was fresh gelato dipped in Dark Chococlate. It is even better than you could possible think it sounds. I am in looooveee.
And then the mister went to enjoy watching the Bruins win the second game while I hung with my friend, Megs and enjoyed some lambrusco and my favorite, watermelon!

Sunday was spent pretty much detoxing! Water, Water and more water. oh and some Zen green tea, And then the mister took me to the park near our house so he could snap a few shots to get me prepared for the big reveal later this week for the messy project. So beyond excited to be participating!

That was my weekend, pretty busy, but it has nothing on my next two weeks. Just missing the mister already and he just left today for Clemson. Come back already;)

  1. We had a similar weekend...well, it seems like all I did was eat! I was going to go to a car show but realized I'm not a car girl either, and I didn't want to walk around alone. Sounds like you had a great weekend. Stopping by from Monday Mingle.
